You are required to locate an article from a magazine or newspaper (not a journal, wire feed, news or corporate website, or blog) to learn more about ”Big Data.” Identify a risk and disagree with one associated with “big data” and post a critical (negative, disagreeing with) 100+ word paragraph related to the risk … starting with, “I disagree…”. You should cite your article (MLA style) in your posting (title and citing do not contribute to the post’s word count).
Hint: If using the newspaper or magazine search category (especially) in the library, click on the source at the top of the article to make sure it is actually a newspaper or magazine, as there are many types of things in those categories, including wire feeds, press announcements, patent announcements, conference papers, etc.
You are also required to read one of the postings from the other students and post a reply against or disagreeing with their posting (starting with, “I disagree…”).

Don’t just pick the category newspaper or magazine and think that that gives you a newspaper or magazine … there are press announcements, wire feeds, patents, and all kinds of things mixed in with those categories. Click on the source link to see what kind of source it is first before you even start reading the article.
