Security is an essential consideration for every organization, small or large. However, certain industries have specific standards or regulations that they must comply with to stay in business. Take a moment to consider a specific industry or organization of your choice and discuss the relevant standards or regulations that industry must comply with. Some industries to consider might be: healthcare, banking/financial, military, education, government, etc.
Policies that you might consider as part of your discussion could include: HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS-Compliance, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, along with many others.
