extremism as your case and use that case to evaluate the utility of an academic
theory, an intelligence technique, or an investigative practice designed to
assist in counterterrorism.  
Possible subjects include: a radicalization
model, the validity of intelligence indicators, countering violent extremism
efforts, surveilling internet forums, manifesto posting, deradicalization, JTTF
investigations, lone wolf radicalization, etc.
