You’re about to write a 2-3 page essay, in MLA format responding to an essay, article, or special interest piece that has to do with your chosen social or political issue. For this essay, the work you have chosen must be something you can read (no video or artwork). Things you may read are a book, essays, news articles, and magazine or blog articles.
Writing must be in MLA format, with a Works Cited page, double spaced, with a centered title, page numbers and parenthetical references and in-text citations.
For this assignment, you will need to submit an outline for your paper. Outlining may be something you have never been asked to do before, but you will be asked to do it for each of the four papers in this semester to help you clarify your writing and solidify thoughts. You may use the attached basic outline for convenience and adjust as needed, or you may use or create your own.
