Develop a thesis about your topic by focusing on a particular aspect or subset of the topic that is discussed in your novel. For example, if your topic is violence, perhaps your thesis is something like… As undesirable as it may be, violence can be seen as justified if it is used to overthrow a tyrannical and oppressive government
Your thesis must be specific, detailed, engaging, and debatable. Moreover, you will need to prove your thesis using research from the real world and your novel. 
You will spend the presentation convincing us of your thesis by providing argumentation and evidence to support your claims.
Your Presentation must include the following:
Detailed lesson that proves your thesis: Offer specific and detailed research that proves your thesis to the class. This should be the majority of your presentation. (Knowledge 10 marks)
Creative Teaching Tool – Some sort of original and creative representation of your topic or activity that helps you teach your topic to the class in an engaging/creative way. This can be anything that you like so long as it is made by you (i.e. work of art, song, poem, video, class activity, etc…). Marks will be given for the combination of the effort and sophistication of your teaching tool as well as the effectiveness of your teaching tool, slides, and handout in teaching your topic to the class (Application 10 marks)
A detailed and evidentiary supported concluding statement that indicates the importance of understanding your thesis in great detail by making connections between the novel and specific real world current events/issues (Thinking 10 marks)
