The labor force was growing because many unemployed people who thought they could not find a job during the recession thought they can and started applying for work. But not all these people found a job immediately. Based on this scenario, respond to the following questions:
Describe the impact on the unemployment rate immediately after such recessions.
Discuss how different types of unemployment are affected because of such recessions.
Explain if we should expect inflation in the economy in the aftermath of such recessions.
