I have posted some notes I had on what this paper should discuss. Its probably not enough for 6     pages so feel free to add anything else you think would help. I also included some links to articles  that might be useful. They arent required to be used but if you use others I will need them.
Nutrition is seemingly one of the most important aspects of a child’s growth and development. From the time a child is born, their growth is measured in percentiles and their development is measured in milestones. With that said, can adequate nutrition be a driving force of advanced cognition and increased intellectual performance? 
Adequate nutrition itself is what 
Malnourishment is often linked to slower motor development, language development, and later leading to poor school performance. 
Interruptions in the body’s metabolic state can also lead to neurodegeneration. 
This is why children with inadequate nutrition are at a high risk for intellectual deficits.
