Create a communications plan for initiating a proposal of activities in school or school district to reflect the need of continuous improvement of school community relations. You will identify the variety of media, including telecommunications and school or district website, used to communicate with parents, and other stakeholders. The plan should be addressed in the context of the communications plan, electronic communications, and media with regards to continuous improvement initiatives. The audit will specifically discuss:
A clear plan for how you will communicate improvement initiative(s) you are recommending.
How school leaders maintain open lines of communication with community stakeholders by having a presence in the community, remaining approachable, and creating positive environments for communication.
Creating and sustaining opportunities for school/community collaboration and partnerships which improve the school community.
Incorporating the community’s unique cultural, social, intellectual, and political makeup and values the diversity therein when serving as a resource and advocacy agent for the community.
Working with the community to collect and analyze data on economic, social, and other emerging issues that impact district and school planning, programs, and structures.
