Are you aware that our class topic is bias: “prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair?” (Oxford Languages) Do you think that you will like writing about this topic–or does it seem too “heavy”: gloomy, dangerous, unpleasant … ?  (Before you answer this question, go to Modules–left menu, 3rd tab down–and survey some of the writing assignments.)
Share some information about your cultural group: its customs, traditions, beliefs and language. In your home, if you speak a language other than English or an ethnolect at home, teach us a popular saying from this language or ethnolect–as in this class, we can code-mesh when we use standard English.
