Distinguish between divorce, unemployment, and illegal immigration as personal troubles versus public issues.  Provide an example of divorce, unemployment, the opioid epidemic, and police brutality as a personal trouble.  Then do the same thing for all four when viewed as an issue.  Since all three are continuing problems in contemporary American society,  how might viewing them as manifestations of issues rather than as troubles enable us to better come up with solutions for all four?
