You are an HR Manager for a regional hospital. You are working with a supervisor to develop goals and a performance management plan for an employee.
For this assignment, you may choose the CNA position from the previous assignment or any other job title in a hospital.
Define and describe a total of 5 metrics to measure performance for this position (be sure to include both qualitative and quantitative metrics).
Write 5 performance goals using the SMART method. These goals should be based on the metrics identified in step 1.
Describe the role that coaching should play for this position in the performance management plan.
Discuss approaches to address employees who fail to meet performance goals as well as employees who exceed their performance goals.
