In your assigned groups, create a series of 5 minute dialogue in which you are the one leading the group therapy session while the rest of you are active participants.
Focus on the leader’s skills, but do not make it a monologue. The point of the video is to begin working on group therapy leader skills. You are not expected to have perfect group leader skills, nor are you expected to be skilled actors.
As participants, use some challenging behaviors at times, but don’t completely derail the situation, either.
The participants are Janeth, Erica, Rachel. I am the group therapy leader (Dianelys). Please complete a dialogue between the participants and the leader. Include small conflicts which shows the leader can redirect appropriately etc.
