Students will present an analysis of two practice situations that demonstrate the student’s understanding of the importance of utilizing values and knowledge in practice appropriately to avoid dysfunctional outcomes.

a)  define Gordon’s concept of substituting values for knowledge,
b)  cite a client situation, social policy or agency policy that had a dysfunctional outcome.
